Subject: When sales markets go wrong, or when others don't hire
Typical offenses:
1.) Ghosting and sub-ghosting. Refers to total potential client disappearance despite wanting or showing desire. Clue or no clue, unacceptable. Soon will be outlawed in LOAs or made too costly to consider. Here's a related link: https://povblogger.blogspot.com/2019/02/short-bursts-ghosting-time-flies-and.html?m=1
Ghost One: See link "short bursts." |
Sub-ghosting refers to vanishing and then denying everything that was either agreed upon or done in sub-full.
2.) Pricing. Few can afford true professional services. Either because they expect more than what's perceived or because everything can be cheaper in a commodity-driven world.
3.) No high profile or brand, no premiums. Sad but true. Always has been, may always be.
What's the solution? Challenge status quo. Prove value with shared or in common examples. Keep moving to find better character...and characters.
Btw: Latter can be fun and productive no matter what happens.

Every now and then, a client subject will achieve the absolute unthinkable when looking for a job -- over time.
Consider profile first and end result a little bit later. Profile: 60+-year-old, consultant and business owner. Expert and longtime worker in telecommunications, which now may be reaching advanced "horse and buggy" status when it comes to true innovation. He's also a Caucasian Man who has seen things from every which way, but the loose.
